About the Author Steve Hamilton has been a member of the Church of Christ for fifty-one years. He has been a full-time minister for twenty-five years, preaching in Missouri and South Dakota and even serving for a short time as an elder for the Battle Creek Church of Christ in Rapid City. His credentials include a bachelor’s degree and service in the Army National Guard and the Army Reserves before retirement at the rank of major. He was a senior aviator, paratrooper, and maintenance test pilot before his transition into the ministry. He married his high school sweetheart over forty-one years ago in North Carolina and has four children and eleven grandchildren.
